Princeton Alumni Weekly Book Club podcast interview (September 2026)

My podcast interview for the Princeton Alumni Weekly Book Club is now live! Check it out at paw.princeton.edu, where you can listen to the podcast or read the transcript of my discussion with Liz Daugherty. We talked about all the things: friendship, my writing journey, how I don’t know how to use Tik Tok, imposter syndrome, how I raise my Chinese American family, and more. I love that the PAW chose to highlight the friendship aspect of Mathey Girls, because the novel is ultimately a love letter to longstanding female friendships.

I am so, so proud that Mathey Girls is the first self-published book to be chosen for the PAW’s quarterly book club. Thanks to Liz, the PAW, and all of the book club members who read and submitted questions!
